Policy Statement - Privacy and Security
Our business depends on our service, integrity, and respect for our customers;
we recognize that client relationships are our most valuable asset. Pointe-du-Chêne Harbour Authority Inc.
("PDCHA") respects and protects your privacy and security; this Policy Statement is a brief outline of
how we do this.
1. Personal and other identifying information.
PDCHA will not under any circumstances or in any manner, provide your name, mailing address,
postal code, email address or any other personal or identifying information to any other
entity, except as required by law.
2. Retention of information.
We collect the minimum information needed to conduct business with you, or that is required by law
for our type of business. All information collected is reviewed every two years
and information that is not legally required for long-term purposes (e.g. Accounting, tax & legal purposes etc.)
is purged.

Like all companies we may be obliged by law to cooperate fully with law enforcement officials
in any investigation relating to any interaction with pointeduchene.ca, pointeduchene.com,

privacy and security of those sites. Once you leave pointeduchene.ca, pointeduchene.com, quaipointeduchenewharf.ca and go to another site,
you are subject to the privacy and security policies of that site. We encourage you to read the

4. Unsolicited email.
We do not condone unsolicited commercial email ("spam") nor do we purchase, sell or exchange email lists.
In the course of communicating with us you may give us your email address, which we will add to our
contacts list (for our use only.) Occasionally (and never more than six times a year) we may use these
lists to send broadcast emails to our clients or members, current or potential for whom we have email
addresses, with important news or other items of interest, or to update you about Wharf activities
and events etc. If you prefer not to receive such messages, please let us know by replying to any of
these emails with the subject "REMOVE." We will immediately remove your email address from our
distribution list.
